9 Nov 2016: High-level user group workshop about BalticWeb
During this third high-level user group workshop, EfficienSea2 gets valuable feedback from key stakeholders from the maritime industry on how to deploy the web-based platform BalticWeb. Stakeholders include ship owners, business associations, ports, pilots, service providers, authorities, maritime organisations and developers of maritime equipment.
The Danish Maritime Authority and the Maritime Development Center are proud to host the third high-level user group workshop of the EfficienSea2 project. The workshop takes place as part of the EfficienSea2 mid-term conference Getting connected to the future.
At the high-level user group workshop, stakeholders from the maritime industry give their input to the deployment of BalticWeb, which is a web-based platform for promulgation of maritime information. Read more about BalticWeb here. Take a look at a conference presentation of BalticWeb here.
Especially the governance aspects of the BalticWeb and how to create a sustainable business model are addressed during the workshop. The discussions are based on a demonstration of the BalticWeb platform, including planned developments in near future which is made available as part of the EfficienSea2 project.
