Engage with EfficienSea2 partners at ‘e-Navigation Underway’
Professionals interested in the latest developments in the EfficenSea2 project will have a good chance to become informed at a the conference e-Navigation Underway International 2017.

When the ship M/S Pearl Seaways takes off for a return passage from Copenhagen to Oslo the participants will have a good chance to become experts on EfficienSea2. A large number of project partners will be present at the conference to put focus on the future of e-Navigation.
Besides being a part of the official programme, EfficienSea2 is also planning special sessions, where partners with different kinds of expertise will be available in special areas dedicated to EfficienSea2. Thomas Christensen, Project Leader for EfficienSea2, who will be giving a presentation, explains:
“We are now in a phase of the project where we are able to showcase some real results. Many of our partners will be available to explain different aspects of our work developing services, securing common standards and creating the Maritime Cloud,” he says.

The conference is hosted by IALA and the Danish Maritime Authority, both involved in the EfficienSea2 project, and this year’s theme will be the latest trends and possibilities of e-Navigation. A topic well suited for highlighting the latest developments in the work done within EfficienSea2:
“We will be bringing news to the conference. That much I am confident saying in advance. We are ready to present new features to the Maritime Cloud and to present our first fully completed and operational service. A service that will be available on our demonstration platform BalticWeb,” Thomas Christensen says.
